Description
This is mid-way up the eastern side of the Sierra Nevadas along one of my favorite Hwys #395 in California. This is likely to be Mt. Whitney, but I really am not certain. When I am out painting on location, sometimes details like that get lost in the moment. @ 1988

I liked looking at all of your works, this one spoke to me because I too love the Hwy 395 for the scenery. Your work reminds me of Rex Brandt whom I have been greatly inspired by. I have been going to Bishop for 20 years now and paint there up in 'thar' hills. thanks for the invite to the Pleinair website too! Esther
